Benefits of Cretan - Mediterranean Diet

Several researchers have shown that Cretan - Mediterranean Diet could dramatically decreases cardiovascular diseases and certain types of cancer.

This healthy diet is defined by an abundance of vegetable origin food such as bread, pasta, veggies, salad, fruits and various cereal whole grains. Its fat main source is olive oil, fish, poultry, eggs, and dairy products are moderated.

This diet is poor in saturated fat, but rich in carbs and fibers. The high intake of olive oil gives the high level of mono-unsaturated fatty acids.
